  • Colorado Courts Homepage (www.courts.state.co.us/ct-index.htm) -- This website serves all state courts that are part of the Colorado Judicial Branch, including the Colorado Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals, as well as all the district and county courts except Denver County Court.   Does not include municipal courts.

  • U.S. District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the 10th Circuit (www.cod.uscourts.gov) -- Save a phone call--find court procedures, forms, filing fees, and court calendars.  There's even a copy of the United States Constitution.

  • Acronym Finder (www.AcronymFinder.com)   -- Look up 109,900 acronyms and their meanings.  This searchable database contains common acronyms and abbreviations about all subjects, with a focus on computers, technology, telecommunications, and the military.

  • Lectric Law Library’s Legal Lexicon’s Lyceum (www.lectlaw.com/def.htm) -- Some consider this the Net’s best law dictionary with thousands of definitions and explanations of legal terms, phrases and concepts.

  • OneLook (www.onelook.com) -- This on-line dictionary boasts an index of 4,877,206 words in 842 dictionaries!

 

Ethics

  • Legal Ethics.com (www.legalethics.com) -- Offers legal professionals a gateway to understanding the unique ethical issues raised by the Internet and Internet technology. Find links to articles, rules, and information relating to Internet ethics issues, including attorney advertising, e-mail communication, and UPL on the Internet. The "Research" section offers links to most of the primary Internet legal research resources; links are also provided to most of the ethics resources available on the Internet.

  • Colorado Court Forms (Self-Help Center) (www.courts.state.co.us/chs/court/forms/selfhelpcenter.htm) -- This site is intended to assist you to learn about Colorado Rules & Laws, case filing requirements, available services in Colorado & general information to assist you with representing yourself in court matters.

  • Internal Revenue Service Forms (www.irs.gov/formspubs/index.html) -- Fill-in forms such as SS-4, subchapter S elections, even 941, online! These forms allow you to enter information while the form is displayed by an Adobe Acrobat product and then print the completed form.  Fill-in forms give you a cleaner, crisper printout for your records and for filing with the IRS.  Also provided is information on e-filing.
